used djm 500 mixer

slight damage as follows:

- two of the four small switches at top of mixer (the ones that switch from phono to line) snapped off. You don't really need to fix unless you plan on running 8 active channels at the same time. All channels work and sound perfectly; you can still run 3 decks and cd player.

- all other features in perfect condition i.e efx, faders, etc.

PRICE AS IS: $ 750.00 ( $ 1,500.00 brand new)

Please email me directly if seriously interested:

long story...well, not that long...
about a year ago while transporting the mixer, the switches just snapped off after the mixer barely knocked up against a wall...didn't take much force... but enough to snap the switches though.

Don't even bother taking them to Pioneer Canada, unless you want to use their repair process.

Which is as follows:
Make a full-size 24 carrot gold casting of the mixing board, then chisel away any gold which is not part of the switch mechanism. Throw all un-used gold away when finished, as it is now tainted gold.

Take it to DJ Depot in Brampton...there's a dude called Mike there that works in the repairs department who'll set you straight for cheap.

that dj depot place needs some listening stations in a bad way.
how do they expect to sell any reasonable quantity of vinyl without ANY listening stations ?????
