Well I've decided to move on from this hobby and it is time for me to sell off my equipment. It was a tough decision, but I have other interests that I wish to pursue.

Everything is in absolute mint condition, perfect working order, and with no scratches (or ugly stickers) anywhere on any of the items. All items come complete with packaging, manuals, and receipts.

Please note that ALL prices are firm (yet reasonable).

2 x Technics 1200 turntables ($600/each or $1,100/pair)
- Silver
- European voltage convertor
- Approximately 2 years old

Pioneer DJM-600 mixer ($1,800)
- Used only in home
- Crossfader has never been used (I use the volume controls only)
- Approximately 1 year old

Pioneer CDJ-500 CD deck ($200)
- Used only in home
- Approximately 5 years old (but very well cared for)

2 x Ortofon Nightclub E Series cartridges and needles ($200/pair)
- Black with yellow tip
- Original needles still in good shape
- Approximately 1 year old

2 x Ortofon Nighclub E Series replacement needles ($100/pair)
- Never been used

Sony MiniDisc R-90 ($200)
- Used a total of 20 hours
- Comes with 5 blank 80 minute MiniDiscs
- Approximately 1 year old

100's of Trance and UK Hardhouse Records
- Contact me if interested in buying records in these genres (too many records to list)

Please direct any serious inquiries to: equipment@djsoundstream.com.

NOTE: Will post pictures of all items this evening.

Cheers ... Ian :)

A couple of additional notes ...

- Prices are firm, so please do not e-mail me saying "what's the lowest you can go?"

- There are too many records to list, so please do not e-mail me asking "can you list me all your records?"

As far as the records go, I would prefer to sell lots of records to a few people, rather than a few records to a lot of people. I am kind of looking for someone to say they are interested in buying all my UK HH or something and working out a bulk price.

Having said that, I may have to just sit down and compile a basic list this weekend. I think I will sell records in bulk for $10 each (or less), but if you just want a handful, then it will be $15 each.

Cheers ... Ian :)

This always kills me- the original post asks people to EMAIL HIM, yet people refuse to take the initiative and ask HIM to email THEM!

It has a lot to do with people not wanting to make the effort, but instead wanting to feel popular by receiving e-mail. I've found the same to be true with other mediums too. I have a ton of "friends" who will never say "I'll give you a call tomorrow", but will always say "Give me a call tomorrow". It's human nature to want to be contacted.

Not to get into an arguement, but here are a couple of points.

You listed some E-bay auctions, which have not finished so you do not know the final selling price of the item, so what relevance are those auctions?

Second, that djmart.com price of $1,159 would require shipping (about $50 with insurance), taxes, and duty. Oh, and it is in US $ too. So the total would be closer to ($1,159 + 50) x 1.15 for tax x 1.62 (US$ conversion) = $2252. Not such a good deal after all, is it? Not to mention that you get no warranty with the unit as it is a US unit.

I bought the unit in Canada for $1,950 + tax, so it was about $2,250 that I paid for it. It is in mint condition and I am knocking $450 off the price that I paid for it. If you saw it's condition, you would not be able to tell the difference between it and a new one. That is how I justify asking $1,800 for it.

There's always someone who thinks they have to upstage the seller by posting a thoughtless bunch of links, isn't there?

Cheers ... Ian :)

As if I'd pay 15$ for 2 year old vinyl. I pay 12-15 now for brand new vinyl that I can listen to. As an added bonus I get to see the name of the track and the artist as well. ;)

Then don't buy any. Problem solved. ;)

None of the prices are set in stone. I don't mind working out a deal if you want to buy a bunch of the records that you pick out. But I am not gonna waste my time sitting at home waiting for someone to come over to pick up a single record for $10. I have better things to do with my time.

Cheers ... Ian :)

About the Vinly thing.

Some vinyl is hard to find and never re-pressed... so it's worth more than original IMO.

I've been offered $50 for some of my EPs ... and I paid $12 for them.

I was going to point that out, but figured it would be obvious to DJs.

I can't list off all of my "hard to find" records, but I do know I have some that took me ages to hunt down.

That is the only item I was willing to negotiate on. Send me an e-mail to 600@djsoundstream.com if you really are interested. I am sure we can work something out. I'd e-mail you, but I can't get your address from the profile thingy.

Cheers ... Ian :)

Also forgot. Got a SNUG record bag (black) for sale for $50, as well as a flight case for $100. I don't think I'll really be needing them.

Cheers ... Ian :)
