Firaxis Reveals New Interstellar Strategy Game, Sid Meier's Starships - GameSpot

Not a lot of information, but the buzz is it might be closer to Sid Meier's Pirates in space.

I am pretty excited for it. There is rumors to be some links with Beyond Earth, but I am not sure how they would pull that off.

sort of looks like their take on Master of Orion. Which would be cool to see a new version of that game in production. Master of Orion 2 ftw.
