finally after two years....

of free cable on someone elses expense, rogers finally caught on and cut us off the other day....

now we have no cable..
no free cable...
we don't want to pay for cable...
fucking rogers...

Ottawa just started implementing ten digit calling. It's starting to feel more and more like Toronto Jr. :D

i'm in the same boat ... cogeco cut off our free cable (we had all the channels!) last december

it's not so bad really ... we just download The OC and Lost every week, and download full seasons of other shows

we still get channels 2 - 6 because we have internet access, so we still get intereting movies / documentaries / animal shows on TVO and interesting programming on CBC and the news on both CBC and Global ... and the simpsons on CFMT like 10 times a day

saving $60 / month is working out pretty well ..

go to the box and hook up everything.. so then everyone will have cable.. plus it'll make it hard for them to nail you.

Honestly, that comment was more self-serving than anything else. Jessica is perfectly capable of defending herself.

You crap the board with 9 threads in a day, all capping out at a dozen posts(because they were about nothing), and now you want to bitch because you don't get free service from a cable company. You'll forgive me if I don't smother you with sympathy "there, there"s. You might want to introduce yourself to the NC thread, instead of starting a new one up everytime you have a new thought.

Just an opinion!

screw cable, get a Zip.ca membership.

That's what I've been doing and I love it. I watch only what I want, on my own schedule. And all for the same price as cable.

One time when I was younger my dad realized we could get free cable (box was open this that) so we had it, until my mom put a stop to that cuz she didn't want to be "stealing".

I love my dad the rebel!
