I've been reading about Richie Hawtin and this Final Scratch program thing. People seem to be excited about it.

What is it?? Cause i have no idea.

it

you can take music from any format(mp3-cd-dat) and it will convert through this special box onto special record that can be played on a turntable....so you only have 2 pieces of vinyl..but on your computer you pick which tracks are on it..i hope that makes sense...

True...true...and you've definitely got to keep buying those special records. They must wear out, so we're not just talking two. Definitely a good idea for a globetrotting DJ though. A lot less to lug around. Wouldn't want it to crash though.
A curious/interesting idea though.
