Anyone heard of this?

The Festival of Dangerous Ideas: Food For Thought is a dynamic event which offers a variety of programming during the day and night, spread throughout the main floor of Daniels Spectrum.

During the afternoon, several “dangerous ideas” will be explored under the following themes: Seed is Sacred, Soil is an Intelligence and A World Beyond Pesticides. Our speakers will examine these “dangerous ideas” by discussing their philosophy and addressing a real world issue. The panel discussion will conclude by imagining ideas for a new, more sustainable paradigm.

Each segment will be given an hour for discussion, followed by a half hour break. Attendees are invited to explore and connect in the Artscape “ideas” Lounge.

After the panels have concluded, guests will be invited to join us for a tapas reception which will be followed by our keynote speaker, world-renowned author and activist Dr. Vandana Shiva. Dr. Shiva will be introduced by Dr. Shiv Chopra and accompanied by Kahontakwas Diane Longboat.

At night, our event will shift into a musical celebration, featuring guests Medicine Man, Loopsy Dazy, Spooloops, Purrpelle, and more. Dancing shoes required!

Please note that the schedule is subject to change and attendees are advised to check this page for updates.

Really amazing name. lackluster content. I thought it would be festival where people would:
1. Run with scissors
2. Get drunk and clean a handgun
3. Bike through downtown Toronto rush hour without a helmet
