the problem at atlantis was andre, not ferry

notice when a propper place books him (guv, etc) he shows up, twice in 6 mos to be exact

Naw man, I just have a preference for DJ's who actually program their sets with skill, who have the ability to match their beats, prolong their mixes and drop their basslines so they hit effectively and emotionally. I like Dj's who show up for their gigs and want to play them, and I like DJ's who actually do something unique with the time and money they get to do so. And I do not believe Ferry Corsten falls into any of those categories.

Ferry Corsten's production and writing skills blow my mind...but i would have to agree that his dj skills aren't too hot.

I think he was a producer before djing, it's just a matter of time before his mixing becomes spotless =;0)

but than again, does his schedule really alot time for practicing?

I think he played a good set...admittedly, he wasnt the most skilled in his mixing, but his track selection was pretty damn good IMHO.

Most peoples sentiments about him being a better producer than dj is correct i think...but i find most producers seem to be like that..not all, but most.
