He wasn't playing WEMF 99...

Every Fleming set I ever saw, from United Dance '96 to Passion at the Emporium in Coalville, England.... best ones from those are his two Orange Room sets, one for AWOL, and one for a clubnight...

M-Zone at WEMF '98... easily the best set all weekend...

LAB 4 at ATM and Analog Pussy at Resistor, Juno Reactor at Destiny 15, for live PA's

Captain Tinrib, Van Bureen and CJ Bolland all had amzing sets at Qlimax in Eindhoven, Holland...

Tiesto at the first Wintergalactic, legendary stuff...

Taucher at a Love Parade afterparty...

Mark EG at WEMF '99

Christopher Lawrence at WEMF '00 and Ascension

off the top of my head...

Ok, these arent actually "dj" sets, they are live:

-Hallucinogen @WEMF 2000

-Wizzy noise @Uncommon Sense (althought this set didnt really seem very "live")

Oooh man this is a tough call....Each big name DJ that I've heard has their own style and I like 'em all.....

...BUT if I was to pick one that I loved seeing LIVE has to be Tiesto @ Koolhaus because of the energy he gives off behind the turntables...He really gets into his music and gets the crowd in a frenzy...

Seaman @ Guv.
PVD @ Guv.

How about most dissapointing international DJ set? Easy one for me...

Oakenfold @ Connected 2000

That must have been an impressive set since Juno Reactor never showed up.

M-zone stole the show at that one though.. you thought his WEMF 98 set was better than 96??

Hands down for me was Infected Mushroom in Montreal December 2000. It may not have been very live however all 2000 or so people were feeling it that night fo sho.

Who was the guy going crazy behind the keyboards and playing stuff closely approximating what JR were producing at the time?

United Sounds of Halosphere?

They did a wicked live PA around 3am saturday night... The Dentist was also supposed to play some of his stuff live but I'm pretty sure that never happened.

All I'll say about D15 is I went a junglist and came back changed. Yup, first time I actually went to a non-jungle-oriented party... So all I remember is that everything coming off the main stage sounded amazing - and that's a small wonder considering the amount of mushrooms ingested - yes, it was my first proper trance experience... there, now you know my roots bitches!

I have the Andrea Romani tape, the M-zone is long lost/stolen...
