Fatboy Slim at World Cup 2002

Norman Cook (Fatboy Slim) is apparently the self appointed Official World Cup DJ and will tour the Far East in support of England's team. The 'Kick And Spin' tour will visit Singapore, Korea, Japan, Thailand and Malaysia, with special gigs in Japan to coincide with England's group matches. An overview:

Wednesday 29th May Zouk, Singapore Friday 31st May Swiss Grand, Seoul, Korea Saturday 1st June Makahuri Messe, Tokyo, Japan Sunday 2nd June England v Sweden, Tokyo (GAME) Wednesday 5th June Zepp, Fukuoka, Japan Thursday 6th June Ozen, Nagoya, Japan Friday 7th June England v Argentina, Sapporo (GAME) Saturday 8th June Zepp, Sappora, Japan Tuesday 11th June Mother Hall, Osaka, Japan Wednesday 12th June England v Nigeria, Osaka (GAME) Friday 14th June Arena, Bangkok, Thailand Saturday 15th June Putra WTC, Kuala Lumpar, Malaysia

Slim will be joined on the tour by Jon Carter and Midfield General. The Brighton B(r)oozer has said: "If you can have an official burger and an official beer, why not an official DJ? This will be perfect mix of party pleasure and football pleasure. This will be my first World Cup and Japan's one of my favorite countries in the world. It's going to be an amazing few weeks. Must be nice to be able to pick where you want to work, and go see all the world cup games you want. I want to be rich!

so I just want to say that England is going nowhere.

bunch of overhyped wankers. mark my words.. out of their group I strongly think that Argentina and Sweeden will get out alive. England will be sent back to eat their fish and chips out of their newspapers..in liverpool soon.

My friend Julie just moved to Korea and was given tickets to the quarter finals of the World Cup and the Party where Mr. Slim will bangin' out his Beautiful Big Beats!
How awesome is that.

blah blah blah... we'll see soon enough... if Beckham's out, then you might be right... if he makes it back I think they'll make it through their group... but it will be close no matter what...
