Yep, they're back in town!!

THE PHOENIX CONCERT THEATRE
TORONTO, ON
Thursday, April 11, 2002 6:00PM
$20.50

I don't know who's opening or anything - but this is where I saw them 5 years ago for the first time - it's one of my favourit venues.

And its down the street from my house - so that means Round 2 of Colt 45's on Carlton St!!

Who's in?

Thier older stuff is a lot better IMO

I remember that concert...Buck O Nine opened for them, and someone dove off the speakers nearly cracking his head on the ground

I've also heard that NOFX is here next month (i think)...anyone know anything about that? Warped Tour '96 - Fat Mike catching Tim Bits being thrown from the pit :D classic!

Bad Religion and NOFX headline the Warped Tour pretty much every year
Plus they are both at the Warehouse ... either this month or next month ... and I highly recommend seeing Bad Religion in a smaller venue ... NOFX on the other hadn pretty much suck live

Bad Religion and NOFX(best band EVAR!!!) will both be here at the end of March, both at the Kool Haus. I think the 16th, and 21st, respectively. My roommate and I are probably go see Bad Religion in Montreal, then Toronto, then NOFX the next week! Woo-Hoo!:D

IMO, Face to Face were always just a Pop-Punk Hybrid of NOFX and Pennywise. And not that great live.

Matt <------- used to be a "punk-rocker"

There's no way - F2F was delivering way more of a message than NOFx's goofy lyrics - I don't think you can compare the two at all!! Matt have you ever seen F2F live, in a smaller venue - They are one of the best live bands out there!! Someone back me up here...

And jungalicious have you heard reactionary?

I used to like NOFX but have outgrown them, I basically think they suck now...they're silly punk for 14 year olds.

And although I'd like to see Bad Religion @ Warped, that lineup pales in comparison to AFI/Rancid!

I used to REALLY dig them.

I've got a couple of there disks lying around I think. They're REALLY good.

I saw them live in Kitchener in 94 (or some shit) on one of the first snow jam tours at the Volcano (is the the place?) in KW. It was awesome, only 40 or 50 people in the entire place.

I have seen Face to Face at Warped Tour (the 2nd one) and once opening for NOFX on their White Trash, ..... tour at RPM!!!

I'm just not a fan of big 'Messages' in music. I think NOFX's lyrics are part stupidity, part biting sarcasm, part inside joke/scene ridicule, and I love it!

With the exception of Bad Religion, who I think to 'politics' well, singing about trying harder, ex-girlfriends, and taking political cheap shots is too easy and overdone, IMO.

Matt:)

I find that bad religions sound hasnt changed much in the past 10 years or so. I've seen them a couple of times, but last year they were completely boring live (at the kool haus) Alot of there songs sound exactly the same, and watching them stand there for 1 1/2 hrs just bored the hell out of me. I found i was looking for people to talk to or just do something else.

I cant believe NOFX is sold out allready. Thats hilarious.

I used to LOVE ten foot pole. i have there first album. However that was like 7 years ago, before they got there new singer, now when i listen to that album, it just sounds like pop punk to me, which i find extremely annoying.

I think Toronto needs to see Pennywise in a small venue. The only time Pennywise came by themselves (without snojam and warped tour) was the first time they ever came, at the RPM warehouse. THey tore that place down.
I'm sick of warped tour and there 30 min band times.
Warped tour has sucked for the past 4 years
ever since they brought it to the city of toronto.
It needs to be out in a field.

^^^ So you're coming to F2F Peter? :p

And Matt - I'm not arguing over which band is better - that's totally subjective.

I just don't understand how you think F2F is a NOFX/Pennywise hybrid...

nope, i don't think i've heard reactionary....i may have...can't remember at the moment lol

sold out!?!!? dammit, oh well...probably a few too many teenie-boppers for my liking anywho.

Ten Foot Pole - loooooove em!

Ladd - couldn't agree with you more!! Pennywise needs to come back to TO in a small venue! They're my all-time favourite punk band, they must be - got all their albums lol

Warped Tour '96 was held at Mosport Race Track in Bowmanville, it was great, 'cept for one thing......too much dust in the pit make it really hard to breathe.
