I was eating breakfast at wal-mart macdonalds this morning.. They had some kind of staff meeting going on, in the middle of the store, and at the end they had a cheer "W-A-L-M-A-R-T, WALMART!", I shit you not..

Theres nothing wrong with cheers..

When I worked at Outback Steakhouse we would do a cheer after doing well in a big hit. It always brought the kitchen morale up, and gave us a chance to get rid of frustrations (by yelling..)

I miss Bargain Harolds

The Biway near our place still has all the picked-through merchandise sitting in the deserted location. It's been this way for the last several months.

They actually do that every morning. I have been to Wal-Mart conferences where they make everybody stand up and do the "Wal-Mart cheer." You get dirty looks if you don't participate (which I don't).

My favorite part is the 'squiggly' that they do for the hyphen between Wal and Mart. Always fun to see a bunch of middle aged people shaking their asses.

Just to clarify: there are no K-Mart stores in Canada. They were all bought out by HBC (Zellers/The Bay) a few years ago and were either converted to Zellers locations or closed.

The only ways that Canada will be effected is possibly in seeing lines such as 'Martha Stewart' disappear from Zellers stores as Canada just piggy-backs on their programs in some cases. Shame.
