Everyone PLEASE drive carefully

Heading back to school myself and BEtonka and my friend Arsh got into a serious automobile accident. Arsh was driving and the unfortunate car is absolutely wrecked. Thankfully everyone reacted well and no one is seriously hurt, but had he turned the wheel the wrong way, had the airbags not exploded, had a lot of minute details not happened there's a good chance we would be dead.

The weather is absolutely terrible out, and even when your not speeding and driving carefully, serious accidents CAN happen. Please please PLEASE everyone buckle up and drive carefully.

Last week during that snow blitz my SUV was in 4 wheel drive and i slid off the road at 60 and almost slammed into a pole.

Weather is fucked right up as of late.

Weather like this is a good opportunity to go out into an empty parking lot and learn to drive...

Most people have no clue.

Last week in the snow, I purposely followed this idiot with snow all over most of his rear window and side mirror... right in his blind spot, and honked like hell when he (sure enough) came into my lane...

Haha... I like to scare morons.

Dude you have no idea how fucking freaky it was. I'm sleeping and all of a sudden Beata is screaming at me to get the fuck out of the car (after we spun around and the airbags exploded adn there's smoke everywhere) I'm in the middle of the 401 in a smoking van, wearing no shoes because I had been a sleep, and Beata's bleeding and Arsh is screaming and blah

And the cops said it was no ones fault we hit a bad patch of ice, only going like 100 Km an hour on the 401. We're fucking lucky to be alive.

Just goes to show, you can never be to careful.

I agree the panicky idiot factor goes up 10 fold during weather like this..

The reason I slid off the road is cuz an idiot scooted across lanes to get to the one i was in because there was no one in front of me at the stoplight up ahead, causing me to break a bit tighter than I anticipated, causing my car to spin & slide up onto the grass shoulder.

At this point i had already been cut off twice on my 2 hour trek home.

But Timo, regardless of how tempting it is to scare idiots on the road.. in the bigger scheme it doesnt make sense, cuz you never know how they will react.

Some people aren't comfortable on the road, and I always say, the worst driver is not an agressive one, or speedy one, the worst driver is someone who is completely oblivious to their surroundings.

On the way to the gym I saw some guy being put on a stretcher after totalling his civic on the median...

on saturday night I was driving down the dvp and I saw a crazy accident just noth of bloor.

this car was driving directly behind me about 20 feet back. I just happened to look up my rearview at one ppint and right as I did he swerved out of control, hit the median, swerved across three lanes of traffic hitting at leat 3 cars on the way(who were inturn hit by other cars), then he slammed into the gaurd rail head on doing at least 100.
After the accident happened I was the only car on the highway because ever one beside and behind me was involved in it.

I drove past the spot where it happened today and the gaurd rail is pretty fucked up.

^^^ That reminds me of a few years ago...

Middle of winter, coming down the DVP... notice something on the road ahead, and hear some sirens somewhere... slow down, and see something on the road, and a car stopped ahead...

The thing on the road was someone's severed leg, from about the knee down, shoe still on it. Don't know where the body was.

It was a jumper, and the car had run the body over, ripping the leg off.

It was great skating at Nathan's Philip's Square that night. Ate some fries.

my father saw this accident where a guy and his girl friend on a motorcycle got hit. She was killed instantly and both of his legs were torn off his body.
when he came to and saw his woman lying there dead, he freaked and tried to get to her, still not knowing that his legs had been severed. when he realized why he couldn't get to here... he freaked even more.

I myself saw a guy on a motorcycle get hit last year. Budy and his bike went flying through the air. He ended up 50 feet awat under a parked car with his legs all twisted and gnarled.
I'll never forget his screams.... not a pretty sound.

Good to hear you and your friends are alright.
2 weeks ago, I crashed into a van because one idiot was changing his tires along Gardiner, not on the shoulder lane, it was on the third lane, the moving lane.
What the hell was that prick thinking??!!

Anyways, nobody got hurt and I have to sell my car 'cos I can't afford to pay for the repairs.

I like driving, but not in winter.

I wish people would be more cautious, and I am glad I dont have to deal with traffic on my way to work.....

will insurance pay for the damages?
