WOW...some people. All I was stating as my OPINION was that I can't believe that people go to that dirty, disgusting, sketched out place. Even if my all time fav DJ was going to be there I still wouldn't go to it because of the disgusting bathrooms, the horrible security and the majority of people all fucked up. I would rather wait till he/she was playing in a place that I felt more comfortable in. YOu can only block out the atmosphere so much. And when it comes time to go the bathroom and you can't even stand the stench never mind the piles of shit laying around...I say thats where you draw the line.</font>
I really hate to push a topic that's mostly done, but I kinda can't help myself here.
Here we are, at the end of the day, and you're crying about how people won't let you have your opinion.
Yet, closer to the start of the day - it seems you were pretty guilty of what you're now whining about. To me, it seemed like a bunch of people were having a conversation about a DJ they saw somewhere and then someone (who wasn't there) decided that the focus of this thread should change to how much they dislike the venue. Not only that, this same person decided that it's not okay for people to go there if they want to - and that if you do go there you're a moron.
Some people have their reasons for going to the less classy places in Toronto, and some people have their reasons for not going there. It's a pretty simple concept to understand if we can all step out from behind our pissy and over aggitated masks for a moment.
Why couldn't you have simply said, "I don't like that venue, and I would never go - but if you like going there (for whatever reason) that's your biz."
Live and let live. I'm happy to let people have their opinions, and I want to keep my own, thanks. So quit crying about how no one's giving you any respect when you're not really giving anyone else any either.
Finch.
