What a good night. I had such a great time, hanging out with friends, listening to some beautiful trance tracks (courtesy of 0S2...i.e.) Robert Miles Children)
the night went along much better than I had expected.

The security was great for the most part, although they had me EXTREMELY riled up when my friend Sarah couldn't get into the 19+ section because her liscense was expired. They're excuse? "Would you use a health card that was expired???" ... haha, what am I here, to get surgery? sooooooo brutal. I was so angry. Otherwise it was an excellent night.

Awesome sets by Beaker, Subsonic Chronic, and DJ Morgan.

What an amazing event! 100% effort went into this party; the lights / lasers / visual projections / giant stars hanging from the ceiling / outdoor tents / phenomenal dj roster!!!

When I arrived Lyphe was dropping some fierce tunes! Lady Bass and I stepped up to the decks next and battled a wicked set ~ too bad we were a bit late ~ damn construction on the DVP! >: | ~ Unabomber was on after and he threw down a hardcore set, what amazing tracks!!!
Lady Bass and I left for a bit and came back to Impact on the decks > amazing as usually!
We checked out Hardware and he was mixing a good blend of trance and techno. T-1000 played some good hard techno but I think he was having an off night with him mixes!

The only negative thing I can say about the event was security. I didn’t have any problems with them but I was hearing horror stories everywhere! The Palais Royal has total control over who does security for the venue so I hope they get their act together and hire a more professional company with their next rave!

To sum it up, this event was first class, 416-Producitons knows how to organize an event!

we got there at about 10 (2 hours into the party) and there was no lineup at all ... took a long time for this party to warm up (with hardly nobody there) but eventually it did as more people got there... I spent a lot of time downstairs (which is a first) and enjoyed being assulted by those speakers flooding the hallway down there with wicked tracks all night... it was nice to have so much room to move around too and it wasnt unbearably hot. Lazers, lights and decorations were impressive too (who's the guy in the hat brushing his teeth all night?) Hardware, Morgan and my favorite locals were definatly what made my night. The crowd seemed strange tho and there were some interesting characters there for sure... the go-go dancers were uhm... boldly entertaining.

I'm definately glad I went. Can't walk today... but totally worth it.

SHOUTS out to all the fantastic people who came together to have a good time.

That security company was Atlantis everyone was complaning about them at the ATM party at the Luxor.There a bunch of sketchy looking dudes it was like you guilting till you prove your innocent.

Anyway the party was wicked the music was solid from start to end,only thing that bothers me was WHERE THE FUCK was everyone the place was only half full.If you missed this party you missed a solid night of hard bangin tunes.

Well, I would like to start off this review by saying Kudos to 416 Productions. They knew they were going to lose money and they came through in a big way. Lately it would seem EVERY party loses money and most of the time promoters skimp out last minute in order to save a few extra bucks but these guys went full on. Everyone who went to that party should be thanking 416 for a long time.
Now, that out of the way let me just say what a wikkid party that was. Killer sound in all areas, and lighting that truly was phenominal. Nice touch with the lazers and dnacers too.
I got there just in time for my set downstairs and Viper and Lady Bass were rocking the hardhouse grooves. Luckily I scored a hug from the ever charming Lady Bass and a slap on the ass from Viper. I think I kinda surprised some people when I started bangin' out the hardcore circa 1992-92 and up. But none the less a fare amount of people were digging the Old-School Hardcore so I kept going with it. Up next after me was G2, playing some more great hardhouse/trance stuff. It was the first time I'd heard him and I must say I was impressed.
Next I went upstairs for some licensed area fun.
It seemed to me that this was were promoters and dj's from all walks gathered to mingle with the common folk....HAHA
But yeah, the real party was in the licensed area...however, I was just getting my booze on when I was informed I would have to go on for Android as he was late. It turns out ANDROID was told the wrong timeslot so I ended up covering and playing a bangin' set of hard techno and acid. Even threw in some classics like Smitten #6, Stay Up Forever #8,#16, and a whole bunch of new @#%$. Thanks to Johnny Funk and Mr Stamina for their crazy front of stage antics...YOU GUYS ROCK !!! I also want to say thanks to all the people who thought ANDROID was soo good, cause it was actually ME !!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!! SUCKERZ !!!
Anyways, after me(again) was MARCO DUX BABY...and let me say that was one of the best German Techno/Trance sets I've heard in years.... since COMMANDER TOM started getting too high to spin. Anyways, it was this set that made the whole night worth it. I gathered alot of the kids didn't quite like it as much as I did but if you know music you know this was a killer set.
I'm not sure who was on after but my G/F wanted to leave since they had stopped serving so we left...But not before checking out IMPACT. This guy simply rocks hard !!! Wish I 'd caught all the openers cause I think those would've been some of the best sets of the night. Decepticon, Lyphe, Beaker vs. Subsonic....Mmmmm!!!!

all trance or all this or that .
Thats the way it all started for me.

sOoo I arrived at the venue ( 10:45)
security pats me down.
Im holding my glass pipe in my hand
Security questions me about it.. I say "I have no weed".
and when they ask why I have it..
I say its for other pot heads they could have missed on the way in.
everyone chuckles a little and I walk inside.
SAFE so far!!

I played outside in a heated tent,
a welcome change from the regular bars or rave dJ booths.
Ryan Ruckus was on before me and I spun from 11-12.
After my set I hit the bar...
Thats where I stayed for most of my night.
I got a free CD from DJ FX
does anyone remember dJ BRANO ?? AKA BRANO ??
He was there.. lots of oldskool e!space faces were.
I havent seen him in years..
he said he sold his turntables but he still has his records..
good for him

so yeah, I stayed in the bar.. listening to dJ MORGAN, drinking beers till about 2:45 I eventually got too dizzy & took a nap .
