Empty your PM box, please ...

Now that I have got the attention of all you Triber's wondering whose PM box it was that I wanted emptied, have a look at this:

I think Alex should include the "PM Quota" option/feature on the Private Message section of the board. It is a nice visual reminder of how close you are to filling up your mailbox.

I think it would minimize the number of pathetic "your box is dirty" posts, as users would know when they are reaching their messaging limits, before it fills up, not after.

Is there a specific number of messages one can receive before a box is full? Or is it based on fullness in a memory sense, like yahoo or something?

I've always been curious.

You'd think this would have been done already though, if it was feasible...

memory I am pretty sure. I suppose you can fill someone's box with one large file.

There are TONS of features that exist in the software that this board runs on, but have not been turned on, mianly for performance issues. Maybe Alex didn't know the feature existed? It certainly wouldn't produce a noticeable performance slowdown.

The BRTs are not that big of a hassle per se, however, you must admit that the feature would make everyone much more aware of when it is time to clean house a little.
