I have 2 electric razors. The philips coolskin rotary model (3 spinning cutters) and the Braun Flex XP 5614 foil linear shaver (with 3 foil blades).
I can honestly say that they are both okay.. each are better at doing different things.
the Braun is good for doing curved surfaces (like your chin) and doesn't need to be pressed hard to cut well.
the Philips rotary shaver works well if you press really hard, but sucks for doing your chin, but is amazing for flat parts (like your cheek).
Overall the rotary cuts more hair at a time and can deal better with longer growth... the braun cuts less hair at a time but is less irritating for the skin (as long as you don't let it grow too long).
Wet shaving (built-in moisturizing) doesn't work at all. Don't even bother. Dry shaving is the least irritating IMO. So don't bother with Cool Skin, just get any philips rotary instead.
Also if you are getting a foil shaver.... remington's apparently have less powerful motors than the braun... so stick with the braun, otherwise it will just take even longer to cut.
