Protein Shakes are nasty.

well ok i haven't had one bc i don't want to fork out the money to buy them as they're expensive.

but i've had protien bars and those are nasty. I literally have to eat one bite then gulp down water .

I'm talking about a real meal.

Try Interactive Nutrition stuff for shakes - they're getting really good. Or the raspberry Iso Whey, just can't remember the company that makes it. Real 5-dollah shakes - fucking good.

Fish and Pork Chops with sweet potatos and salad for real food.

Protein bars.
however, it takes a while to get used to them.

I generally eat the high protein ones (nothing less than 25g)

Mesotech's are tasty, but expensive.

NO FLAVOUR!!

I've tried egg whites before.
The waitress didn't know what i was talking about.
I'm like 'you know egg whites, no yolk' and she gave me a wierd look.
i'm never having egg whites again.

Do you know what i've realized?

In order to eat healthy you can't have any falvour bc all the falvour means fat content and carbs and grease and so on.

I'm not a fat person.
I think i can eat what i want and work out and still get fit.

That's my thinking anyway :D

Egg whites are like tofu. They have almost no flavour and you can add them to anything.
Egg white omletes are great.
Sautee some peppers, onions, a little pat of butter, salt, pepper, grate a little bit of gouda... pour on your egg whites and you've got a nice healthy meal.

They typically have 20g of sugar... that's pretty much the same as most chocolate bars, isn't it?

I don't give so much care about the sugar, on account, i tend to eat a lot of sugary crap. I'm trying to eat more and more salty though.
