Thanks to all that came out last night...

I (and most of the other DJ's agree) haven't had that much fun in a long, long time.

Pure vibes inside the place.

I'll be posting some good news in the next couple of days. Keep and eye out...

it was fun..even tho i had to leave mad early cos i worked the next morning. the night definitely has some potential. embryus is a beautiful club. nice looking crowd out, great dancers (for the most part) and the most important thing of all....bangin' tunes all night long. dj spinz (who i've never really been a fan of cos he used to be about an ish that i wasnt into) pleasantly surprised me with an ass shaking set. nice.

all in all, a good night, beautiful setting..i hope it becomes a regular thing.

I had a great time - so much so that I was surprised when the plug was pulled just after 4. I didnt want to leave and was too broke to head over to system.

Why did everything shut down and not go to 6 as advertised on the flyer? Yes, the crowd had thinned out in all three rooms but pooled together the night still could have gone on? Were DJs booked to play until 6?

Besides that early send off, my congrats to Eastern Bloc!

I had an awesome time last night

great to see some old friends again and have some beers of course.

The music was superb.....and Embryeus is a beautiful club

Classy and mature crowd

excellent evening

You guys shouldve headed down to Darkrave after they kicked us all out.
Thats what we did
They didnt even charge us to get it.

Combine these two events and you get one long drive home with the sun beating in your eyes!

well worth it though!

(Tella I think I was dancing beside you at the beginning of the night....wasnt sure if it was you are not...but I guess it was!! I was wearing the plaid shirt w/black pants ...you probably didnt notice but oh well

well done eastern bloc crew!!
5$ for a shitload of talent, a beautiful club and an awesome bunch of partiers? god damn - thats a good deal!!

my weekend was pretty tiring even before the eastern bloc party - basement jaxx on thursday, de-koze on friday...but i am certainly glad i dragged myself out! so fun...

embryus is such a beautiful club! made a few tours of the jungle and house floors but spent the majority of my time in the cozy breaks lounge. d-monic had the crowd dancing and smiling well into the nite. kept dropping my fave tracks which made it very hard for me to leave to flyer. finally forced myself!!

wicked vibe everywhere. ran into lots of friends plus lots of new ones! i love it when everyone is having fun and adding to the overall amazing atmosphere!!

thats it. finally time for bed

It would have appeared that we got a good drinking crowd. And, with good drinking crowds, once the booze is turned off, they leave. But it's all good.

There were DJ's booked to play. Mystical showed up at 3:45 to play for 4, but there wasn't enough people left to justify staying open. The only floor that was really rocking at 4 was the breaks floor... and I had planned to play for 4 hours... and I was cut short.

We apologize for the early closure. Watch for details about next weeks not to be missed birthday party...

I had a great time on Saturday night. Embryus is such a nice venue. It used to be a private cigar club lounge, which may explain the elegance. That one room upstairs that looked like a library was killer. Anyway, Eric Lewis played a wicked warm up set. Apparently he just moved here from Vancouver. Tim Patrick followed him up with some stompin' house beats and west coast flavours. And then, Paul Walker steps up to lay down some slick, funky techno and tech house. I ventured to the jungle room where the Unknown Souljah and MC Trajedy were tearing shit up. And D-Monic had the breaks lounge pumpin'. All in all a great night...I hope it continues...sooo much potential. Great job E-Bloc!

Great little party. Didn't get there till' about 12:30 (was at David Alvarado@Life but couldn't stick it out considering all the coked-up ginos in the house - yuck!). Got to see Tim Patrick and Paul Walker spin nice sets. Danced a lot. Met Smurf, talked to a few people(Beaker, Delerium88) and danced with friends. Too bad I missed a few folks, but had a great time none-the-less.

I personally didn't mind the party shutting down early (I'm a drinker mostly). Good vibes, happy people dancing, wikkid venue. Can't do much better than that, eh? Peace,

Matt
