E.C. blows!

Ok, it's not a revelation.. they just tick me off.
I was clicking through the channels when I saw Mr OS/2 being interviewed. The dj part is the only part of E.C. that really gets me watching. So I got excited to hear some good tunage when ... they only give him enough time to play one track. He started kicking in his second track and then that loud mouth starts yapping away... yap yap yap (it's all I hear when she talks since she's an idiot.
I'm really suprised this show does as well as it does.

I'm done venting.

the host really pisses me off...she's so clueless..

i rememeber when Ken Ishii was on and she called him "trance DJ Ken Ishii".

then during the 'interview' she asked the most ridiculous questions...Ken ignored her and had a puzzled look on his face. pure gold.

Next week Deep Dish are on it..she gonna be onterviewing them, that should be a laugh.

Also, the crowd is 100% fake.

Believe it or not, there's a show more irritating than EC.

BPM tv has Room 208 which is filmed in Australia (krikee!), has tweens as the dancers and borders a little too closely to being child pornography.

There's also the ugliest transvestite I have ever seen who has the most annoying French accent I have ever seen, which manages to bring out the more annoying side of Aussie accents in the process.

Trust me bro, this makes EC seem like a minor distraction. At least the DJ's on Electric Circus can mix, the dj's who are on this show are fucking awful and the needle keeps skipping all over the place.

James...i downloaded Blackhawk Down and watched it last night...i enjoyed it...really intense at times...but i really need to see it at a theatre now...

what's the deal on this Mothman Prophecies?

I can't stand Richard Gere though.

haha..
like on this show, just before OS/2 goes on she asks him if he's gonna play progressive trance. Which he answer no just trance and he'll mix it up (which he had no time to do so).
I know it's not as big of a mix up as Trancey Ken Ishii but still

Mothman Prophecies is supposed to be based on a book written by the guy who Richard Gere is playing. Apparently the film is toned down because the shit that happened to him in the book was too fucking weird. How often do you hear that? I'm hearing good things about it so far, and I'm going to check it out, as well as track down the book. Any book that is too strange for film is a must read for me.

the funniest is watching the crowd dance to drum 'n bass...they do the same movements but at such a quick rate that many dancers look ready to take off...funniest shit ever!

The book is even better, and you'll start to look at the movie in a bit different light if you read it. The film downplays a lot of the nastier side of the incident, like how the Americans got very indescriminate about determining who the enemy was, how the chain of command broke down, and how Mike Durant (the helicopter pilot who was captured) was treated as well as his ordeal during his capture. They also go into great deal over the aftermath of the incident, including the White House's take on the whole incident, the U.N. and how the Somalian people had to deal with 1000 dead and countless more wounded. Also, the film combines certain characters and eliminates others, along with changes some of the timelines of some of the events that occured. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, as the book is pretty unfilmable stuff if they remained totally faithful to the story.

From the Ministry of read the book, dry narrative (but the writer is a reporter), but the story is assembled through interviews with both Americans and Somalians throughout the incident. It's a facisnating read.

I hate when they do stupid props and they make lameass snide comments and everyone pretends it's the funniest shit on earth.

The #1 reason to get digital cable! Room 208!

Granted, the show has dancers that are a little younger than EC, but they at least don't take themselves too seriously. It's like EC without the attitude.

It would really funny if a dj went on and played some rotterdam or ambient. I wonder is they'd still dance the same way?

I too was sadly watching this last night. Number one what was with Nadine's outfit? And what about when she was telling OS/2 what they were going to do, and it actually got broadcasted?
The only thing worse than EC dancers are the people who are bling-blinging it up outside.

In the end I love watching it just for the people watching factor.
