just finished reading it.

overall i was greatly entertained, has some eye opening points, but i also found some of Mike's points to be as equally paranoid as those of the Republicans et al that he was opposing. Who's read it? What did you think?

. . .it's outside you window, just waiting for you to bring
it home

Ive read it, and only found the part where GOD wrote the chapter to be the only entertaining bit

besides that, I found it boring

i like the God part too. didnt you find the chapter where he's dreaming talking to his great grandaughter to be preachy and presumptuous?

I got this book fro Christams and read it while on vacation. Found it entertaining but as OTIS mentioned I have heard great things about Al Franken's book. Might pick that up tonight.

On the whole, there wasn't any information in this book most people wouldn't have already known. I think Michael Moore knows his audience has swelled after Bowling For Columbine, and he's trying to take advantage of that before the elections.

I enjoyed the book, but then I've enjoyed all his books since "Downsize This!"

I know it's a pretty left wing view, but at least the info is getting out en masse

I was not a huge fan of this one. Stupid White Men and Downsize This were both fantastic reads. I felt he was really straining to tip things his way on this one. Still a fun read.

I've read it,meh.Im a fan of Moore I really enjoyed Downsize This and Stupid White Men,but his schtick is getting tired.Attacking republicans and especially Dubya is like shooting fish in a barrell, honestly I prefer Al Franken.

It's very entertaining.. and after that if you want to go slightly deeper, get The Best Democracy Money Can Buy by Greg Palast. He's the ex-governement hired investigator, now reporter famous for election among other things, exposing the corruption in the 2000 election. This book nicely illustrates how deep corruption runs within the US & even British Government. Everything from Enron to Prison systems.

this one was alright, but moore is a bit too hellbent on emotional forrays and sensationalism - he's a really smart guy, but some of his passages read like a kid in the middle of a temper tantrum...overall, i'd give it a 7.2/10

i'd like to check out the franken book
