Hi guys, I'm doing a school project where I have to design a Dream radio station.

If you live in Toronto and the surrounding area and you could answer these questions for me, it would be more than helpful!

I don't listen much... I'd assume only when in my car...

Depends, a few times a month?

YES!!!!!

100% of music listening ( i would still listen to the news soemtimes ~ 5%)

5) How often do you party?

Define party. ;) I go out 'big time' maybe three times every two months. I go out to a club to dance maybe once every two weeks or slightly more often.

tough call...most wanted i think.

I think it's important that people indicate their favourite club/production company to show that there are viable advertisers out there that can support such a venture.

3) I think theres a need because i listen to the music primarily. I currently don't listen to any radio because none of the music interests me, the only time I may listen to the radio is sporting events while driving.

4) I would probably have it on all the time. I listen to music all day at work, driving in the car, and when at home. I currently listen to either CD's or online radio, if an actual radio station existed that would take my primary listening.

5) usually out 4 or 5 nights a week... between weekly club nights and parties on the weekends.

Toronto would goto Destiny, Hullabaloo, Breath, Lifeforce

4)FOR SURE. I NEVER listen to the radio because of the fact that its pure crap. So 100% of my radio listening time would be directed at this hypothetical readio station

I'm not trying to study the effects of electronica on the individual and all that sociological bull crap.

I'm trying to see if there are enough people who listen to electronica and to prove that there is at least SOME demand for it. Simple as that.

Don't assume that I'm trying to prove some theory. If I was, this survey would be a lot more extensive and a lot less "biased". :p

If you don't understand what I'm doing, don't try to criticize me.

Anyways, thanks for your answers guys! I still need more please! :)

I have no idea which companies work here, but since I get a vote, I'll vote for the people who put together that Nokia party in February at the big theater downtown. On Front St. or King...
