Someone posted a link to a url that you can download software that allows you to record real audio off of the net.

Does anyone remember the url for this site?

I found it but it is a real wanky piece of software that I am having trouble adjusting the vit rate, and actually recording what I want.

I had a real ghetto program called Real Audio Recorder ... it worked okay ... but it was a very basic program and kinda tricky to use ... until you got used to it
I can't remember where I got it from though

And I don't have it on my computer anymore

Bro, you can do that with Winamp..

You just need to have the right plug-in installed..

I can give you the details offline.

You can use Cool Edit to do that ... whenever you open a Real Audio file in it ... it automatically converts it into a WAV file

okay, i've downloaded this program.....tried to open up a realplayer file...and this comes up..

The file "C:\WINDOWS\Desktop\technificent shows\january08.rm" isn't a valid and supported sound format. To convert, play the file with an appropriate player and record with Total Recorder.

what is an appropriate player...??

sorry, i just want a converter....unless im doing something wrong here...i dunno...

Stu : where do i get this cool edit?

tekkid - mail me, I can hook you up with both cool edit and total recorder.

you'll probably need real player basic installed in order to get around that message tho.
