Well, I'm about to head out for my last day of school EVER.

I never thought that this day would ever come--after all, I've now been in school for the last 20 years. I have one 2-hour exam left to write, then I get to walk out that door and be a free woman.

It's been a long haul, but I am now one step closer to achieving my dream.

My last class of university is today as well, i have mixed feelings about it, on one hand i am so happy and excited its finally over, and then on the other hand, i know i'm going to miss certain things about it...the real world seems scary!

the most satisfying thing that I did after my last exam was to mix a nice Rye and Ginger in class.

brought in the bottle, glass, ice, ginger ale and when i put my pen down i brought out the ingredients. mixed 'er up. sat back and enjoyed...

i got a funny look from my prof and a few classmates, but that didn't matter because i was done.

edit: oh, and congrats! you'll feel strange when all is said and done.

The entire class is going out afterwards for lunch and drinks right after the exam is done. It's gonna be funny, because everyone kinda hates our program director now because of the shit he's put us through. Oh well, the college is paying for our outing :)

I felt good when I finished university, but this feels even better, since I know that I never ever ever have to go back.

thats how i felt.

man, walking out my last exam ever, after four years, and walking home to house in a town i had lived in for four years, but was moving out of in a day.... i cried all the way.

on one hand, i was so happy and proud of myself. but on the other i was exhauseted and sad to leave and scared of the adult world:(

it did feel damn good tho! congrats sugar!

It's such a great feeling to be done with school....and you are working in your field of interest too!!

on my last exam for school i did something stupid.

the exam was actually optional but since it was a sociology class many people took it cuz they needed marks.

i went in thinking i could leave whenever.

i was red.

so i get in and they said you cant leave once youre in or you get a zero cuz of cheating whatever.

so i waited till all the TAs were at the bottom of the stairs at this big hall in the enviro building at u of t.

then i screamed... "Im DONE!"

and ran the fug.out.

ON A SERIOUS TIP,,,

I miss school. working sucks.

the feeling of freedom last about two weeks. then you realize that rent is do and that you ahve to get and keep a job so that you can continue to pay rent and do everything else.
then you wake up and your 40.
then you die.

I've yet to feel the "whew i'm done" feeling, but I'm sure it's quite a relief!

Hope you find your dream job soon! (sleeping and smoking crack doesn't count... =)

PS. don't forget to puncture your program director's tires. It's good luck.
