The cover for the night, as listed on the flier was $15 B4 11:30 and $18 after.
About 30-40 people paid the actual cover before we recieved word from DG thathe wouldn't make it. This is a rare occurance, and also a difficult situation to deal with-
If you read the beginning of the thread, you can check out more of the details, but as soon as we were aware that Donald was not coming, signs were put up at the front door and around the club-
The cover was dropped from $18 to $10
Anyone that was on the reduced guestlist for $10 was let in for FREE~
We still had a guest DJ (Slim) in the backroom, and Deko-ze filled in the main.
The few people that had paid full price already were individually told about DG and were given the option of a refund (nobody got one) or some free drinks at the bar, and a the opportunity for a great party anyway, which it was!
I'm not exactly clear about why you don't like Donald Glaude, but if you are so curious about question #2, i suggest you go down to the next venue he plays at and ask the hundreds of people in line waiting to see him, Mr. Crankypants
