Dominoes - Any Players on here? :)

Well myself and Norm talked briefly about this while snowboarding ...

Wondering if there are any Dominoe players on Tribe that would like to hookup and get six'd by myself?

And no double 9 players

Just straight double 6 players, 2 ends one death

Any going to the TBK Cottage, I think I'm gonna pickup a set if no one has a set, I have a set, but they are not nice enough

I actually played for $5-20 a round at one point... I was too into them at times

I'm not in for a game, but do me a favour and post the game that you play.

We play up to 6 players - each person gets a certain number of bones depending on number of players i.e. 6 players get 4 bones, 5 get 5 bones, 4 get 6 bones and 3 get 7 bones and the remainder goes into the boneyard. Double 6 goes first, or double 5 etc. Then its basically lay em down until one's out - gotta yell last bone or you pick up another, there's only 2 open ends and first one out gets the sum total of all other player's bones. In other words, the Jamaican rules!

i've got a set of double six dominoes that i'm bringing to the cottage trip.

I've seen lots of cheap dominoes crumble with a few hard behind the head slap downs

Play off the two ends...
Gotta win 6 straight, Key Card is worth 2 points.

If you're playing 2 man teams, then if they win 2 in a row it's back to 0... 1/1 play for 2

If it's cut throat, it's every man for himself, last man in the whole needs to get one b4 the first person drops 6 ..

Any Dufferin Games store (or whatever its called) in shopping malls... they usually have the ones with the metal pips in the middle

i play pretty much the same game as pr0nstar.... except i'd like to add NO RUBS... no matter how many doubles you have, or how deep in love you are... absolutely NO RUBS

OK, get me up to speed on the terminology here - key card? And what do you mean you gotta win 6 straight?

Key card is when you have the last card of both sides.

It's really hard to get, and it don't happen often. Basically there's say a 1 on the one end and a 5 on the other end. And you have the 5/S

You get key card, cuz no one else can play on either end and they have cards left.

6 straight, meaning each time you win you win and get a point. The double 6 starts a round then once you've won one you can lead any card you wish. And you have to win 6 straight without the others winning. That's partners.

In cut throat it's usually 3-4 players.. and every man for himself. And the one who makes it to 6 points first wins.
Everyone but one can get a point or two or whatever, but one has to stay at zero and the one to reach 6 wins.

i've got a thick six set, been smashed nuff times and still holdin together.

we can make the thin double six the non-smashing table and the shit talkers can smash to our heart's content.

what are you referring to when using the term rub? i have always thought that rubbing is shuffling the dominoes face down before taking out your hand. that's all a part of the game, especially when you've just won the round and have to make everyone else rub the table.
