I am trying to email someone at via rail and wonder how their email servers deal with staff emails... is it:

firstname_lastname@viarail.ca

or

firstname.lastname@viarail.ca

?

I tried it and it won't even verify my email address, so I am not so sure how well it works....

if it can't verify a gmail address, I guess google isn't a major corporation either smartypants.

gmail addys are personal emails, no real corporation will use them

google employee's email are xxx@google.com

we use this for our prospecting purposes at work. i was going to look up our contacts for via in our CRM for you but i just decided against it.

The size of your organization doesn't matter. All this site does is:

- look up the email server for the domain specified
- connect to the email server that it found in the above step
- test to see if the mailbox exists.
