Uhh... wow. I'm not going to be able to hoof it down to Tdot for Dan @ Guvernment, but you're all in for a great time, if last night is any indidcation.
Dan threw down a good mix of funky, chunky disco house and some harder stuff. Definite ass-shakin' tunes. I left while he was playing a remix of 'Jungle Boogie', 'cause I hoped he would get better for the remainder of his set, but I wasn't entirely sure how he could.
I have no idea who the other DJs were opening for him, but they had solid sets going on... for a while I thought they were doing a versus 'cause I kept looking up and seeing a different DJ
The only downside, was the booth being above the main bar meant it was difficult to see the man at work. Oh, and some guy coming in to have them turn the music down
I mean really... who does that?
But all in all a fun time. Crowd was a little different than what I'm used to for these kind of parties... a little too much of the 'Ginos and Hoores' you see in the back of UMM
Really, really friendly bar staff (inc security) though, have to give them props.
