Been spending alot of time lately going through the record collection. Man have I found alot of records that I have no idea what I was thinking when I bought them!

How ever I did find a good stack of AciD hOuse !
I cannot get enough of the good ol' AciD !
I think it is about time an old school Acid hOuse jAm was thrown down !

My Terry Mullin 'new school fusion' tape which I purchased at X-static is still by far, one of my most prized possessions.

acid house back in the late 80's early 90's was siiiick. Wasn't it Dj Pierre who created that 'squelchy' sound while playing around with a 303 ?

I think the track that sucked me into the acid sound was Phuture's 'Acid Trax'. I think the label was just 'Trax'.

Other tunes like 'The Theme' by Unique 3, & 'The Dance' by Rythim is Rythim (Derrick May), & 'This is Acid' by Maurice, & 'Machines' by Laurent X all had huge effects on me as an early 'raver' if you will. I remember thinking that the music was amazing because I could dance all silly to it... sorta like a robot or even a puppet. All I knew was that I loved that shit.

Speedy J, Tyree, Ron Hardy, Sunshine & Sundance, Fast Eddie, 808 State, LFO (remember the speak n' spell sample... L...F...O), Raze, KC Flight, Richie Rich...... all top notch acid promoters... Juan Atkins... Adam X back in the day....


fuck.... if you guys threw an acid house jam.... I'd be there in a fucking second!

get Mark Oliver / Kenny Glasgow / Mikey Mike...lol... or some other oldskool heads to drop some acid

i grabbed a set off audiogalaxy last night that was labelled "terry mullan - live @ syrous", but no date was given. lotsa nice acid happening. but it's only encoded at 96 kbps.

and BTW, is it mullan or mullen? i've seen it both ways an equal number of times...

just upped it - turns out that must be my encoding - that tape had so much wear that i guess i figured 96kbps was enough
