dilemma

okay i've been offered a job in hess village downtown hamilton..

for those that don't know this is pretty much just a massive block party...
like 20 bars/patios on 1 block...
and it is HUGE money

the problem is that im enjoying my current job right now quite a bit for a number of reasons.

i dont know if i should go for the money or stay where im happy......

Maybe you could take a leave of absence from your current job, try the other place out, and if you don't like it then go back?

Wouldn't working in Hess be fun? It's THE place to be in Hamilton in the summertime, is it not?

i went to school in Hammytown, you'll make a lot of coin and meet a lot of people in Hess....what's your other gig?

ya hess is the place to be pretty much...
and i will make a killing...

the other place is Boston Pizza. its a really fun job, my bosses are cool, the girl im seeing is there, ive made some good friends there. its also a place where i can see a future, there is lots of room for promotion there

joey it may be the place to party...but if you're working will it be all that fun? you have to serve the drunkards like josh and jen...you dont get to have fun with them

If you're leaving sorta soon, why does it matter if you have advancement abilities at Boston Pizza?

And dating a girl you work with is NEEEEEVERRRRR a good idea.

shes pretty much the only girl in hamilton who can carry a conversation and is decent to look at...

ill make a ton more at hess, but im making alrightmoney now

depends what your goals are joey - if you really could use the extra cash as it might help you get to where you want to be, then advancing to the big bucks is what you should do....however....if you're making good money now, and are really happy, and see yourself working where you are now for a long time to come, don't give it up - its really hard to find a job you love.

If you go work at hess, you'll have a short-term blast while avoiding the possibility of a sexual harassment charge down the road. (don't say it couldn't happen) You also get good money. I think you'd have a shot at moving up the ranks wherever you work joey.

Sweet mother of baby jebus, you should have seen the debauch we got into there last night. I almost got run over apparently, and got into a street-wrestling match with a girl.

Said girl later pinched deep's ass and he still thinks it was me.

So thats who's going out with her. I knew there was one in Hamilton.

Can't you do both? Get reduced hours at Boston Pizza and work at Hess as well. Hess is only a summer time thing. Wouldn't you have to look for a new job in the Fall?

And will you get free pizza at Hess? Cause I would go where the pizza is.

Dude, it's BOSTON Pizza? IMHO, that's not even a good pizza joint, much less a place with a good future.... ;)

The hess thing sounds like fun, good $$, and it's not so far from T.O. so there'll be plenty of op's to see your girl and party down here, no?

How much does getting money hinge on future plans. If you're thinking of going to Australia or Hawaii, and aren't sure if you'll make enough coin in enough time, then move it.

However if you have a date set when you want to leave, and you can make enough money in your current job by then, then stay.

Which Hess bar is it joey? That'll weigh heavily on whether you should come down here to work. If it's the lazy flamingo, go for it muthafucka. Then we'll have the afterparties here.

Tell your dad i'm sorry for calling at 2am. I didn't know what was going on by that point.
