we went down to the game. i know that we went into their barn and we were expecting crap but we didn't get crap we got

CRAP

all they could say was:

canada sucks
canadas a bunch of homos
go back to canada
toranto sucks ass
beer, popcorn and any other objects that COULD be thrown, were.

at one point while i was taking a leak and this guy says to my ear "if you win this game you will not leave here alive" i realized that these people are not NORMAL! they were animals.

BIGUPS to the raptors fans who reprasented last night. unfortunately we were in the eye of the storm and NO WHERE NEAR other fans so we had no support.

but if we won we would be dead by now.

dude i get that at everygame i attend in the USA (i only chear for the visiting teams). whether it be football, hockey, basketball. threats and taunting are as much apart of sports as the games them selves. just accept it! or dont go chearing for the visiting team!

I found the Detroit fans that were the most obnoxious were the frat boy types who didn't understand that it was just a game. Although when I was in the washroom, everyone started a "Piss on the Raptors!!!" chant and I thought I would be pissed on for sure.....but I just laughed at their comments about Vince [wearing a home carter jersey] and how Canada was not needed as a friendly neighbour and it was cool. We sat in section 223 which had a huge Raptors fan presence and thus even if the Raps won we would have made it out together. Most people are loud and obnoxious but as long as you don't confront them, don't make eye contact and stick with a large group, you're fine.

I was more concerned about the sketchy Mobil station we found ourselves at in the middle of the night in the ghetto!

yeah you see you were with a large group while we were with a group... of FOUR! right in the eye of the storm. i told that moron at ticketmaster to see if there are a lot of raps fans in our section she said yeah, tons. OOPS!

i didnt know whether i feared for my life. I guess thats not the point. The point is I wasn't as disapointed with the outcome as I was with the treatment. Even the cops turned a blind eye. Where you out there in the smoking area? Dude the cops didnt do shit as my friends raps jersey was about the be ripped off.

My favourite moments of the night:

ripping into a couple of gay Pistons fans who were standing up for the entire 4th quarter blocking the view of this little kid in the row behind him, which got laughs from our section . Someone threw garbage at one of the funboys, he turns around and goes "Who threw that shit?" And I told him I knew who did it. He goes "who? " And I say in my best Chris Farley yell "someone who wanted you to sit your ass down!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

jokin with a cute blonde pistons fan who was dissin my carter jersey when her boyfriend came out of nowhere looks at me and goes "don't talk to her. don't talk to her" I go "do you fuckin own her?" and then I ran off into the sea of people.

Other observations:
The ladies from the TDOT were 10 times more likely to smile , 100 times hotter and 1000 times less skanky than the Pistons fans

Even if the Raptors won, all you need to do is be cool, smile and people won't harm you.

I wasn't in the smokin area but a couple of friends went and they didn't have any trouble. Did you also find that it was the frat boys who probably posed the biggest threat?

I generally find frat/jock types are like this outside a game setting....losers with 2 -track mindsets: sports and berating women.

courageous went out the window when bubba sat beside me. his name was BUBBA AND HE WEIGHED three hundred pounds. he claimed he was jerry crackhouses' security guard and well my night went down from there.

ECHO the statement that TO girls are AMAZING! wow, as soon as i got into the stadium, i began comparing. The detroit girls have no style, no sex appeal, and theyre all fat. the skinny ones are plain ugly.

i love canadian girls. i love canada.

i hear ya....i went down to washinton DC a while back and i was trying to find even ONE hot girl....no such luck...the whole trip all i wanted to do was go home so i could see hot women again.
