The cryptic email they sounds out looks likis for Derrick May, but I think the same clues would apply to Derrick Ramerez. . . which is a lot more likely.

he blew my mind at a sunday night party years ago at bauhaus. i don't think it was a long weekend, but i remember walking home at sunrise.
definitely in my top 5 of all time.

the nightwithoutaname hints tricked me as well, but now i know who they're talking about.

That was a great night, he really ran the gamut of techno. I was soo sore the next day!

See, I hear people rave about his Dj sets all the time yet he has never been anything but boring when I have heard him. Worst set I heard him spin was at an Alien party at the Masonic Temple years back... the one where they were giving Jason Justin's cd's out. The only part I liked is when he dropped an Erykah Badhu acappella. Oh well, maybe one day I will hear how great he can be.

what other parties have you heard him at?
i find it hard to believe you'd find him boring - even the worst Mayday gigs i've been to were far from boring.
(mockingbird anyone?)
