Super party - Way to go Jer!

This was stop number two on my list last night, and I was glad I was able to check it out! I had a great time!

I liked the venue, haven't been there before so I wasn't sure what to expect - but it's got decent sound and a lot of room (except the bathrooms... they are teeeeeny!).

We ended up heading downstairs right off the bat cuz Mr. Jeremy Jive was on the decks, and that's who I was there to see. He threw down an awesome set, ended up getting playing much harder and funkier than I would have expected for a "deep house" night. Plus he played that Hodges remix (thx forthe ID Naomi!) of "Frontin'" and I friggin love that song... I know - cheese! LOL

Great crowd there - including that bunch of gorgeous girls that were dancing up near the front @ the beginning of the night. *winks* I arrived alone but I didn't feel alone the whole time I was there...

had a good time last night.

saw some faces I hadn't in a long time and got to talk to those people as well.

music was tight - Jeremy played a great set (what I caught of it). I liked the venue, Una Mass has a good, intimate vibe.

Joanna disappeared on me, I saw her and then - poof!! - she was gone. But nonetheless, nice to see ya!!

Looking forward to the next one.

naw mang, that's just a good tune, period.
i know some djs are reluctant to play certain kinds of tunes if the song is perceived as being too popular or whatever, but i'm glad when dj's have the conviction to play something on the basis that they like it, and that that's good enough.

Thanks to everyone who made it out. The turnout was great and it was nice to see so many friendly faces and a lot of people I didn't know.

With all the other things going on last night I'm happy with how it went. Not sure what else is in store for the next while with DeepHouseNetwork but there are some things in the plans.

Nice little Friday nite jam. Had a good chat with Brother Brown Vinder! ha! ha! Heard some good tunes and left by 1am. Nice set by Jer but I only heard a wee bit by West Magnetic so I can't really comment.

Spent most of my time downstairs. Enjoyed what I heard of Jeremy's set, and West Magnetic was awesome too. People decided to come to this party sorta late (after 1am), and it ended at 3.

Congrats Deep House Network on their 1st party.
