What a nite...
Showed up early to the club and was impressed already from the decor... Good Jen and I think DawN was part of it..
but you guys made the main room ShinE..

House room was pretty slammin...
I was everywhere that nite.. Had to hear a little bit of everyones Sets...
Good set to John E in the House room and Evil P.. i was impressed.
but anyways.. good nite.. good fun... and sum good sleep..

O.K. let me start by saying I'm not a huge fan of breaks but.... those were some crazy ass sick beats they were throwin' down in the main room. If they make me shake my ass somethin' must be good about them! Great job guys!
What can I say about Evil P!?!? That guy spins like no other! I'd been up since 5:30am in the morning and he kept me going untill 3:30am. As usual he did not disapoint - off the hook! It was especially good to be able to hear him somwhere other than System. To bad the sound system was pretty fucked in the back room, it kept cutting in and out.
All in all it was a great night!
(If the could just get rid of the sketchy ones who looked about 17... "I need some drugs... got any coke, crystal, or e's?" I must have been asked at least 10-15 times! No joke!)
Big ups and respect to 905 productions for what was another great event!

It was a pleasure to throw down last nite. Wes, dude.... had a great time goin b2b, We shall do it again soon.
Great set by Dave and Rob too, u guys rocked it out propah!
Czech didnt dissapoint, the man knows how to work a crowd and incorporate anything into a set.
Thanks to Brent for the great nite, Thanks to all who came out in support and those who stayed till the very end.
Once again Hammer-town was rockin it hard.

For my review. I drove all the way back from Ottawa just in time to drive to Hamilton to see Czech. He is my all-time favourite Dj.
However, I have to say his sets have changed a lot lately. My roommate and I both thought he SUCKED! I found his mixes to be off (sounded like his record were skipping) and his choice in tracks was terrible. There may have been 2 or 3 I enjoyed but that's about it.
When we first got there I thought the music was superb!! I'm not sure who was playing, I think Dave Saddler and Switch? Whoever it was, some of the tracks they threw down had the sickest beats so I give you my respect.
And believe me, it takes a lot for me to disrespect my all-time fave Czech....but man....it was terrible. He played I believe an AC/DC track followed by the entire Sweet Home Alabama song. The whole song and it wasn't even breaks. From what I could see there were only 10-20 people dancing at a given time during his set and he appeared to have cleared the room from it's once packed capacity. Sorry guys. I have been following Czech since 1995 and that was the worst set I have ever heard him play. Of course I admit some of it has to do with the times and the music but Sweet Home Alabama? Please. Sorry Czech.
As for the rest of the evening? No complaints. There wasn't a line up, cheap cover....great crowd and decorations!! It was nice to see everyone out. However, this is the first time I have ever left before Czech's set was over and I stood there for over 2 hours waiting for something but it just never happened.
I had fun, please don't misunderstand but Czech seems to be hit and miss these days and last night was a huge miss.

The last two times I saw Czech (last weekend, and last night) he was kind of disappointing. He seems to be moving towards darker, more interoverted beats... I'm not really a big fan of that. If I want deep, dark music, I'll take techno over boring nu skool any day.
Saddler and Switch played a solid set as usual. Unfortunately I missed funknstyle and the electrician. Funknstyle, you're always on too early man.

I saw Czech back in December, and he played a set of guitar breaks, including the sweet home alabama (which seemed like it went on for hours). It was a painfully bad set.
But I spent about half of Czech's set in the house room on Friday, and for the couple tracks I would pop in and out for were to my liking.
So my faith in Czech was restored because of timing I suppose.
then again, after his set in December anything would seem good in comparison.
But I must say I had a blast on Friday.
the house room had some banging beats, and aside from the sketchy soundsystem, made my night.
good to put some faces to names, and Switch gets track of the night with Toytester's Prove Me.
excellent decorations, excellent crowd, and sweet music all night.
fun times had, and I can't wait for the next trip down to Hamtown.
I was at the first Funktopia, and if it was as rammed as the last time - woah
But I've seen Czech at least twice in the last 3 months and his sets haven't done anything for me. The openers usually blow him away Rob (Switch) did it last time.
Its good to see the Hammer getting some decent nights recently and the re-vamped fever looks good. The only thing is there's never any Jungle nights. Its ALWAYS breaks and usually house. The last time I heard Jungle at Fever was for the Re-opening Freq-Nasty (breaks) who was amazing by the way
Please bring some Jungle DJ's, I don't mind breaks - but every weekend?

First off I would like to thank everybody that came down for the night, I myself had a hell of a good time. All the boys played excellent, had me shakin my ass all night, which usually never happens!!
Special thank you to Jen, Dawn and Blair for helping me during the day with the hundreds of balloons etc. (there's still a full tank of helium if ya want it Jen...hehehe!!)
I hope everybody enjoyed their evening and I hope to get you all down again a.s.a.p.....big future plans for H-Town in the very near future!!!

it is the breaks scene's most reliable place for a good time.
every town has jungle.

I had a saweet night... Funk-N-Style and I destroyed it from 10- 11:30 like I knew we would... Dood... we'll definitely have to do that again sometime...
I had a great time talking to all these people I used to know about 6 years ago... WOW... that was weird... but cool...
the music was dope all night long... Fever is jiust kickin ass now..

wow this is my first post !!! i'm excited
I had a blast at fever on friday, great beats, great people, great vibe!!! Was the dd for the night and still had a super time and danced all night! GOt some great pics too!
