I think the night is finally over.
Huricane Czech has finally passed through London leaving a trail of devistation behind (myself being one of them)

Too "wooozy" to put all the accounts of last night in perspective...Yet.
Hoping someone else will do the deed.

What a SICK NIGHT!!!! The place was packed!!! Great Vibe from everyone!!!!
Much respect for sure!!!

I got there a bit late, but I was lucky to catch the tail end of Greg Benz's set which always is a pleasure!!! That man is going places!!! Global Underground? What?
Had a great chat with my man JEMZ, always a high light of the night!!!

Anyway Mark Scaiffe took the decks and again kicked my ass!!!! i kept missing him when he was coming to LONDON but his set was great!!!! Fast and hard, also had the great pleasure of meating him!!!(thanks again Jaime)
I danced my ass off and thought I had nothing left, but then Czech comes on and brings everyone to thier feet!!!! everyone going nuts, and I again danced sooooo hard I couldn't figure out where the energy was coming from!!! The music and the crowd!!!! I love events like that!!!

I unfortunety had to leave at 2am but I greatly enjoyed myself....I would compare it to DJ Heather night.....very uplifting, great vibe and tones and tones of dancing!!!

The promotion dude for Rise that I met, I'm digustingly sorry but I forget your name, thanks for the drink...hope to hear from you soon!!!

Anyway, I'm heading to TO soon so must go now.

I was dancing beside "addicted" for a bit and I see her at school all the, but you never seem to recognize me...I'd like to meet you but you seem really hard to approach. Maybe sometime in school!

Wow. A great night. Mark Scaife was on top of his game as always.

Czech threw down the most enjoyable set of breaks I have heared in a while. It wasn't well mixed but it certainly was well programmed. Remixes of "Tainted Love" "900 number" by Mark the 45 King, "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay" and so many other classics just completely left me with a feeling that I was watching a guy who wanted to play a fun set for an appreciative crowd. And a great crowd it was. Standing on top and looking down on everyone yelling with hands in the air was brilliant.

In a post gig confab with sir Czech, he told me that he thought it was a better night for him than in Toronto. I am just glad visiting Ontario was as satisfying as always.

Thanks to AMP once again, glad to see you with such a smile.

Well, I myself had a long, but enjoyable night. Got there kinda early and things were kinda dragging on, only keeping myself amused by the amount of people I knew, which is always a pleasure.
the set up was kinda cool. Cheesy "Love" hearts hanging from the ceiling, and chocolates (although I never did find any that were "specially marked") scattered on the tables, with nice vases of roses as a center piece. Goes to show that a good decor can definately throw a little fun into the occasion.

So yeah. Czech finally comes on.
His first few tracks were really fast, but good none the less. About three tracks in, he threw in DJ 43's Pepperspray, which got me going, and kept me moving throughout the night. Some cheese to end the night, I couldn't argue with singing along to "Sitting on the Dock of the Bay".

Definately an enjoyable evening. I'm listening the the Ruckus cd that my friend got in her little gift bag thing that she got upon admittance. Enjoyable stuff.

Anywho. Fun times.

I saw Czech the night before at Limelight so I don't doubt a great night...

...but am I the only one who thinks that it's rather tacky for the promoter to be the first reviewer of his own party?

Well, I don't see a problem with a promoter giving a review, even if it was the first. I would hope that a promoter would be able to enjoy his events and give the peeps some feedback as to how it met with what he was trying to do.

It is also good because it influences more feedback from other people, which well help them in future events.

Anywho. Enuf outta me.

Just mentioned the fact that Czech was finally out of town and I was glad to get some sleep!!! Czech= no sleep

Don't see any mention about the party do you?
The fact that myself and a few other parties with czech till friday afternoon says nothing about the event it's self.

You may want to drop another two cents in the pot since the last two were pointless.
