LOL...my take on the so called greatest rappers...

biggie is better than tupac but NAS creams them all...KRS is close on that list and so is Jay-Z...nas wins out in the end with smalls a close second

now I feel like blazing and throwing on "unbelievable":)

I think before his career is done i'd throw one marshall mathers in that mix. lyrically insane, which you can't deny even if you don't like him, his flow is unique and production is very tight and very heavy.

yeah i expected this.

last year when i started this thread with teh same title people posted the same stuff. Opinions are great, but you cant deny the fact that biggie for one reason or another, touched alot of people, both artists and fans around the world.

and i whole heartedly agree that tupac and nas are just as good, if not better.

anyhow, the point of this thread wasnt to debate whos better in hip hop, it was to remember an MC.

They aren't #1 in my book, but I think that pac and big are often referred to the greatest of all time because well, they were shot. They've become martyrs in a sense. I don't really feel that way, but I'm sure some do. Also the timing of their deaths had something to do with it...at the height of the east VS west bs.

There's a hilarious Chris Rock quote about them, but I don't want to post it, since it may offend some...
