Although I am sure this doesn't cater to most of you some of my friends will have booths there & I am really exciting about going, especially because I missed canzine, & need to stock up on my zine collection again.

Cut'n'Paste zine fair is happening Saturday, February 23rd, 2002 It will be held at Sneaky Dee's, corner of College and Bathurst, on the second floor from 12 to 6pm the event is free and all are welcome so drop by and check out the offerings of Toronto's zine community! Broken Pencil will be selling its new issue, #18, the special DECAY issue, for the first time at this event! If you want to reserve a table to sell zines or other indie items, you can call Michael Comeau at 416-977- 7236.

yup I live at College and Spadina, right next to Kensington Market.

The last one I went to, I bought this really nasty lesbian sex comic and a whole bunch of ARA patches. And of course, my "FAGS WANT BLOOD" patch.

This will be a great chance to see a lot of old friends. Hmmm...

Did anyone go?

It was pretty cool & contained a few pretentious self-absorbed people, altho mostly guys. I was surprised at the amount of just random day musings for 4$.

I hardly saw any resistance zines which I was hoping for. That kind of bothered me.

My friends and I use to have a booth several years back....I lost touch with the zine thing a few years ago...ok, I'm a lazy ass and haven't gotten around to doing another one...

Those were really fun to goto though.

I had a good time, but it was STIFLING in there and I couldn't breath.

I saw this guy that lives across the street from me, who I used to play kick the can with when I was 11. He had been making zines for like 5 years and I didnt know.

It was kind of like a rave, but with socially inept kids of a different sort.
