Computer question

[Hi i'm God]

What do I do if I download a game of something off kazaa and all it gives me is a box and when you double click it, it gives me a black window with a c/ prompt them goes away? Does that mean it was a corrupet or incomplete download?

It's possible it might be corrupt, or it might be just injecting/extracting files. if the box comes and goes really fast and the file isn't doing anything thing else after that, it might be corrupt. just open up MS DOS in windows and run the file in there and see what the error message is. as long as you have the MS DOS box already open, it won't close fast on you

even better idea would be to scan your computer with an anti-virus right about now...

Yeah it goes away lickity split and i dont know how to get into dos any more let alone use it... I guess i'll trash it.

Start Menu >> Run >> command >> [enter]

As for how to use it, you're on your own, if it is a self extractinge xecutible why not just open it from within WINZIP or RAR or ___?
