I added it up... that's what it costs right now... though you'd be hard pressed to find a KT7-RAID, so I used the price of a KT7A-RAID.

Strange ... I go to the same site you post.
The CPU is listed for $149, the VideoCard comparable but not the same is $269 ...

I'm not trying to argue here... but don't post shit about it being worth less when I know it isn't man...

Plus the prices you posted work out to just under $1700 ... and they're wrong. So I dont' know where you got your original figure ...

Sorry, addition... the rounded IDE Cables, Extra Fans, Blue Orb alone are worth an additional $100.

Okay, so let's say you can get the system for $1900 brand new (with a 1.5 year old motherboard...)...

It's USED... and USED a lot...

So when I sold my 1200s the first time, and I made money on them it's because they were 8 years old and well taken care of?

I know things go down in value... but sorry, this PC is not that old, less than a year old. And it's barely used in the past 6 months. I've been using my Laptop and work PC mostly.
So I could care less if I sold it or not... I'll use it as a linux box.
And for $1700 I'm taking about a grand loss at that price...

You know, back in 1987 I paid just over $1000 for my Tandy, with it's 8088 and 128K of memory...

Now, I barely used it, but do you think it's worth say $600?

Of course you're losing money... it's computer equipment...

In 6 months, it'll be worth about $500.
