This is a hardcore gamers machine about 9 months ago... everything is working great. Just have the urge to upgrade.
Most products are highly recommended by most hardware sites.

    Does not include a monitor...

Asking $2000 or best offer, cash.

2000 bucks? Wow, man, that's a little steep. I was thinking more along the lines of $1500.............

If you don't end up selling it all in one piece I could use a motherboard/chip upgrade.

Sorry, I might go a bit lower than $2000.
Besides the speakers and Generic 256MB.
The rest of the parts are top notch parts, plus I threw in the SCSI Card + Burner + Mouse ... easily worth $300 if not more.

Well just to see, I made up a system containing similar parts to Kenny's system here.

Some things like the CPU weren't available anymore so they had to be substituted with a more modern chip, but anyhow I added it all up and after taxes, the computer I created that was as close as possible to Kenny's specs was : $2310.35

    The quote came from www.canadacomputers.com

$2300, I'd like to know exactly what parts you put.
Not saying it's high or low.. just wondering...

And did you get the SCSI Card in there? :D

A Tekram UW SCSI card is about $200-$300 cheaper than an Adaptec. Right there that bumps the system quote to at least $2500. Also, is that Yamaha burner you added a SCSI, Rob? (The 20x10x40). I didn't realize that SCSI burners (even 10x) were under $200.

Well I'm not planning on raising the price :D
Maybe lowering it a wee-bit... but my offer is still what it was originally.

And yes, Jay is correct... burner is SCSI, but only 6X and the Adaptec Controllers are way better than the others, but not that much more expensive Jay... maybe on the RAID controllers.

Like i said i had to compensate for lack of exact hardware.

They did not have the adaptec scsi card he listed but a much higher model.. so i opted for the non-brand name.. as it was UW also..

and as far as the burner goes.. i just picked the only yamaha they had.

    I'd rather have a 20x Eide burner than a 6x scsi anyday.

so it's pretty even if you were to ask me.

lemme guess.. you went to the one at pacific mall..

those guys are jerks.. but the prices are oh so low.

those guys were such jerks.. i was asking the guy about a couple different motherboards and he offered me no insight..just stood there... "we have it"... ummm ok... which do you suggest .. nothing... so I made a purchase in a way i prefer not too.. without the sellers input and suggestion.

but fuck if they don't have the cheapest prices.. i was warned about the service though.. i felt bad giving them money when i'd prefer to give it to someoen more appreciative... but... in the future i'll just do ALL research before hand and walk in asking for specific.

Pacific Mall is a clean flea market..

p.s. robbbbbbbbbbbbbbb i NEEEEEEEEEEED to score a copy of MOH off of you... i'll do anythin.. name my first born after you if i must! :) HOOOOOK me up -- its part of the reason i did my upgrade;)

The canada computers located downtown have much nicer staff, and don't expect you to yell them over a counter to get service.

I'm going here from now on.
