i'm posting this from the beautiful library at beautiful king's college in beautiful halifax. dj doublecross and myself have road-tripped it out here and are having a wicked time in the city we've affectionately named Pleasantville. neither of us have birkenstocks or are activists or singer/songwriters for that matter, but we're getting into the vibe of the place still. $1 beers, friendly folks, lighthouses... it's all here.

on the way out we chilled for 3 nights in montreal and that was rough too... saturday was 15 degrees so the whole city was out strolling the streets and boozing on the patios. got to chill with temper tantrum at the punker bar where everyone was on mescalin but us .... saw the first hour of kevin sounderson's set at stereo... everything you've heard about the system is true. unbelievable!

dj doublecross smoked a wolf near moncton... stupid thing was illin' on the side of the highway, but then ran out right in front of us and just stood there. BLAM!! sent flying into the ditch.

thanks for the good wishes everyone! we had a wicked time... listened to a fuck of a lot of music too, considering we drove 3600 km all in. montreal and halifax have such different vibes from each other and from toronto, but they are each wicked places in their own right.

hey bumbaclaat, i think i might know your brother... in fact i have a feeling he might have been crashing at the same dudes' house where we stayed in hali... is he down with northern ss crew?
