There was a place in Scarborough at Birchmount and Lawrence that used to make INCREDIBLE chicken schwarmas... i think it was called Farhat or something?? Damn now i want one.

actually theyre from this place near Fever in Hamilton, across on King St. I walked (stumbled actually) many blocks on friday night to get it..

You haven't had Chicken Shawarma until you've tried Ali Baba's. There's a location on Queen near Bathurst, and on Dundas just below Bloor Street at Dundas West. Sooo good. You will never have shawarma from anywhere else after you've tried it.

Get the plate too... Better value and the rice is delicious.

In Netherlands, they call shwarmas Doner Kebob. haha that's funny, its like the most popular street food there - pretty much equivalent to hot dogs here. ANd they have fries in cardboard cones with mayo.. haha man gotta love mayo with fries.

Falafal Queen across from the Big Bop on Queen at Bathurst is also really good.
