You haven't had Chicken Shawarma until you've tried Ali Baba's. There's a location on Queen near Bathurst, and on Dundas just below Bloor Street at Dundas West. Sooo good. You will never have shawarma from anywhere else after you've tried it.

Get the plate too... Better value and the rice is delicious.

In Netherlands, they call shwarmas Doner Kebob. haha that's funny, its like the most popular street food there - pretty much equivalent to hot dogs here. ANd they have fries in cardboard cones with mayo.. haha man gotta love mayo with fries.

funny story, some tree hugger group some time ago put up gandhi's quote re : an eye for an eye all over the place on little flyers and had it mis-spelled...

I go there all the time for lunch. Very good Shwarma.

Falafal Queen across from the Big Bop on Queen at Bathurst is also really good.
