Cheap tickets to Germany...A.S.A.P

My dad wants to take my mom to Germany for new years as a little get-away.
Very last minute, they are willing to leave a.s.a.p

Can anyone help me with sites to check out prices? I went to cheap tickets.com and from toronto to frankfurt is was almost $2000 each.
Anyone know anything better?
They want to go for about a week.

Any help would be great.

with no 7-14-21 day reserve during peak travel season you are hardpressed to find any seat sales.

Not saying it's not possible best bet is call a travel agent on saturday they may have a lead on last chance sales but they usually take the scenic route like toronto to new york to london or paris to where ever
