hopefully you guys aren't getting sick of my threads, but over the past month i have heard some amazing production work by charlie may...

the bug ep, his orbital rmx (stellar vocals & probably one of my favourite tracks of this year ) & now last night i heard his work with mandalay...i forget the name of the track, but it is on the new digweed comp...i have to say this guys on a bit of a roll...an interesting sound...it's dark yet uplifting at the same time...a nice combination...

it's interesting how good music continues to be good music, no matter if it's labelled progressive, house, trance, techno, breaks...if a sound is good it will move you...

Charlie May has been around for YEARS.

He's one half of Spooky. Some of you old enough may remember 'Little Bullet' from them on Guerilla back in the days when prog house was PROG HOUSE!

Spooky are arguably one of the best progressive house acts ever. So good in fact Sasha ripped off one of their melodies for 'Xpander'. When Sasha is using your music to make newer music, you know you've done something right!

Cheers,
