I hear you .

No prob my friend.

You are welcome anytime for drinks and fun .

Lots think im kooky for this audio addiction , but many others have more bizarre passions .

Sorry Deep , i missed your question .

Headphones .... please do not laugh ... i do not do alot of headphone listening ........ Sony MDV500DJ .

Shhhhhhh secret.

Headphones are amplifies with Musical Fidelity X-Cans headphone amp .

Power amps are Bryston 4Bst x 2 , mono and Bryston 3Bst x 1 stereo for hghs.

Good Canadian made amplification , built like a tank , 20 year warranty , neutral . and a solid match to my UK made monitors by PMC ( Professional Monitor Company ) . Bryston distributes PMC for Canada and Pmc does same for Bryston in the UK .

On the hunt for new pre-amp . Linn Kolektor is fantastic but i need someting a little more equal to the Audo Aero cd player.

The odd cassette goes through legendary Nakamichi Dragon .

nice tape deck. back in the day when tapes actually existed I used to drool over that thing.

but yeah dude, hurting on the headphones ;) We're like polar opposites, my headphone rig kicks ass but my system is hardly anything on the audiophile level (it does what I need it to though. All detailed listening is strictly through my headphones & amp).

your system sounds otherwise ph33rsome. are you a tube guy? I'm not familiar with those particular pieces of hardware.

Yep cables are directional...

So, they do this how, exactly? Nanoadjustments of the molecular structure of metals?

I just haven't been keeping up with subatomic nanotechnology...

solid state for both the musical fidelity and bryston. (i'm taking the liberty of answering -- the bad geek in the corner who reads too much) www.bryston.ca

that's a killer system. if I didn't take a drop of alcohol for the next 3 years, i might be able to justify spending a comparable amount on my system. but i'm quite happy with my budget system and buying lots and lots and lots of music. :)
