Any thoughts on this guy?

A lot of hype surrounding him right now. People are hailing him as the Canadian Dizzee Rascal. He also just got a U.S. deal.

I actually like it.... just wanted to know what some others thought.

I'm on the fence with him...if the production was a litter tighter you could easily mistake him for the latest Def jux signee...good stuff nonetheless

i really liked about half the songs, the other half i was mostly indifferent to

i see the def jux comparisons but i'd categorize this in more of a alterna-rap genre 'long side techno animal and peaches and ARE weapons ...

the last track on the album is absolutely great though, it's only 2.5 mins long but it's 2.5 mins of brilly-ants

he's not that good

and the ARE weapons comparison is confusing...I don't think he's that emphatically different
