I have decided to close the forums due to several key factors:

1. The cost
2. The time and energy for mods and admins alike to run this place
3. The community has changed in a direction that is not what TR was set up to be. And as much as I have a sentimental attachment to what it was like... and how it once was, I have to face reality and acknowledge that it is not the place that I meant for it to be.

It will remain as a place for promoters to list their events and promote their parties. All those who belong to the promoter group will still be able to post their events on the events forum and calendar.

A heart-felt thank you to all the moderators and staff members past and present. You have gone WELL above and beyond to run this place and it's been a thankless job since day one.

Much gratitude to all those community members who have frequented, and flourished here, making it the place to be and making TR the well-known place for the scene here and around TO. I hope you had fun.

I used to get all my party information from there. But thats because it catered to hard trance and you all know what those 2 words uttered here does...

TR was on the downhill from the start of the new board.
It got worse and worse, and the mods were doing shit.
True intelligence wasn't appreciated... and i got banned for that reason.

what's funny is, when i got banned, i got banned for saying exactly what Brainfire claimed as a reason for ending it all.




Yes. You will see a in-flow of TR nutjobs coming to Tribe. but they won't last long.
Tribe is too mellow, and yet too much for most of those idiots.

Tribe- a valhalla for dead ravers, where they are resurrected into prototypical trendy and bohemian Toronto clubber snots (apartment in Chinatown/little Italy, attends or has attended OCAD, wears kitchen orange, gets coked/k'd up at goldclub events, buys furniture from caban, etc.)
