By Far, the worst birthday of my life....

My birthday consisted of several letdowns, not just in one day, but more so over the last month. All day has just been the icing on the cake.

I'm going through such a major life change right now, it seems as though my whole world that I've known for the last two years is collapsing around me and there's nowhere or noone to turn to. I just smoked a big fatty, and though I'm stoned, I'm all alone. Today I turned 26....by myself. No family, no friends, noone anywhere around to say...hey man, happy birthday. Wanna go out? This is by far, the worst birthday of my life.

Oh well, I think I'll just go sulk now.

but like deep said.. things will even out..

Life is like that.. ups downs never constant, always creating equilibrium.

This is just one of them low times.. the key is riding it out, that's what creates strength of character.

ICQ is a good way to ensure people remember your birthday as it reminds everyone on your contact list at least 50 times prior to the date. ;)

Happy birthday sweetheart. And keep your head above water. When the shit hits the fan, it always hits it all at once, so you seem to get pounded with one bad thing after another. You just have to remember that change is a constant, and that as shitty as you feel right now this is only a -temporary- thing. You will come out of this tough time a stronger and wiser person.

If I were in Tdot I would be dragging your ass out right now for a cheer-up beer and some conversation, but I'm not. Mayhaps next weekend? (I'm home for easter) my jacket and backpack are still at your place.

my birthday was also pretty much forgotten & spent in solitude this year, but i've learnt to try to focus on the positive things that the last year has brought and all that awaits the new year.

i've yet to receive any presents from my immediate family, a birthday card, or some sort of birthday celebration from them.

my sister broke up with her bf recently, since she's been kinda down she gets presents up the wazuu!
yeah, not fair. :s

buying presents for one's self also helps alleviate and forget any pain.
oh purty new shiny objects...

things do get better for ya, so heres hoping you feel better this week.

Sorry to hear you're feeling so down. I think we all know about the whole shit-storm around you right now. Don't let the pressure get you down. You have helped create something really big in our scene over the past few years. Creativity, progression, and the real feeling of PLUR. Please don't feel dismayed or hurt. I know you and your crew will pull through.

Wow. Um. I relate.

I also turn 26 today. I had fun last night but got dragged out of bed today for a 60-person birthday party for my grandmother (hers was yesterday...thanks, family). Yes, I was acknowledged, but I was tired and bored.

Got home later than expected, rushed around, got ready...went to an Oscar party at a bar and like, the majority of my friends didn't end up up coming. Then I went clubbing after, saw a few of them (various elements came into play that kept other friends from being there...sucks, but I understand. At least they let me know in advance).

The topper was seeing my ex that I broke up with last week. No acknowledgement whatsoever, in any way, shape, or form, of my birthday. Wow, do I feel special.

So I'm giving you a great big virtual hug...I need a real hug right now *sigh*. My friends gave me lots of hugs earlier but I just needed to get away from my ex...the whole thing has put me in such a sour mood.

This month has also sucked for me too. I hope and pray that things will turn around and I'll be better-adjusted soon.
