Buying Coffee in T.O.

I've been looking around, but I'm having trouble finding a good place to buy bags of coffee in Toronto. I think I got spoiled in Kingston by a store called Cooke's...everything I buy tastes kinda subpar.

Does anyone know of a good place to buy? Thanks.

You can get Kicking Horse for $12.99/lb at a food store on Parliament juuust north of Carlton - on the east side of Parliament, where Carlton terminates. It's fully buzzword-compliant joe: shade grown, organic and fair trade. I like the Sumatra or Three Sisters blends.

are there any coffee stores that sell super-exotic, expensive coffee?

like stuff that's 20.00 a cup or something?

is there such a thing?

Sobeys and Loblaws also sell Kicking Horse.

I thought it came from a civet cat?
Well in the link I posted it said the beans were passed through a marsupial called a paradoxurus. But from the looks of it, it seems like a cross between a monkey and a cat.

Aww monkey kitty!
