Freeland is an amazing DJ. Sorry bro, you may have thought he sucked one night, but in the over all sceme of things, Adam has rocked so many floors that he absolutly deserves to be in the Best DJ catagory... my money for this years best DJ goes to my homeboy Terry Hooligan from Atomic Hooligan. He raised the bar for breaks DJs this year.... showcasing his party rockin' battle style that really no one in the breaks world can contend with.

seems to me that most every year we see the same names...

is street wise a new label? i could swear they've been around for a while. didn't koma & bones release button monkey or some shit on that label¿

as for best remix, Cowgirl - Atomic Hooligan shouldn't be up there. the only reason most people liked the track was for the elements of the original version, with the addition a breakbeat, but come on, the remix wasn't very good at all. probably took the man a couple days at most to make.

being a massive fan of underworld, as well as breaks, i was slightly disappointed by this record.

also, i wasn't impressed by 'eargasm' at all... but that's just me. anyone with me on this¿

im with you on the underworld remix, but, when it comes strictly to dancefloor impact, that record cant be denied. loved eargasm though

But at the same time, it is a pretty accurate representation of the whole world's take on what's popular in breakbeats. If we were to hold a Toronto-based poll, I'm sure the results would be different.

I know that they took many measures to ensure that all the votes counted were unique. It's not like electrofly went off and voted for themselved 10,000 times. There must be a lot of people in the world who actually dig the electrofly sound, even though I don't think I've ever heard an electrofly record played out in Toronto.
