i wasnt there when raving started.
i dont remember when it was just warehouse paties....

i dont remember the first syrous party, but i remember slow burn #1 and #2.

i didnt go through my "trance sucks, i only listen to house" phase until i was 21
i didnt go through my "house sucks, i only listen to jungle" phase until i was 22
i didnt go through my "jungle sucks, i only listen to breaks" phase until i was 23

remember when jungle was the other room, at the back?
remember when jungle was the same size as the main room?
remember when jungle was the main room?

i remember better days, and day breaks, when we broke our backs until late the next day.
when Vitamin D and Dj Dan when they were actually breaks dj's....
when jungle with R&B vocals was still a DJ trick, (im talking at you courtney)

the dj Hype mix tape w/ GQ, that started off with that helicopter song where they countdown to liftoff..... what was it called...

(i remember never knowing the titles to any of the songs)

i remember the full moon in squamish, BC, how the moon hung so low between two mountain tops while people danced in that funny way everybody on the west coast dances... breathtaking stuff,

remember doing E-bombs at house partes and in your spare time... just knocking on that monkeys door...

i remember talking about this stuff long ago and having veterans of the game laugh at me cause i was too new to be reminiscing about shit already.... i guess its true what some old monk said
"even when in Kyoto, i miss Kyoto."

....sketchbags......

butterflies in my stomach....
love potion #9, red rockets, spacemen, michelins, yellow canary's, and stickmen....
white crosses and K,
stories of ginos passing out from too much GHB @ the GUV

when you didnt like trance but danny tenaglia was still dope....

that whole lighter to the vic's vaporub stick thing....
------------------------

"miss thang..... there is no guest list tonight"

bosa.... high as hell

I remember E-Parties, and Alien parties, Good Vibes, Syrous, Liquid Adrenaline (when they were good), Cheddar Days, Nitrous, Atlantis, Not the End, Destiny 1, and the first ever 3day Destiny 10, etc...

I remember when the warehouse was RPM, and Orchid was still around and the Rise, and Comissioner St, Circus, Buzz, etc...

I remember when candy attitude was more prevallent then how much plastic you could fasten to your body.

I remember when Jungle WAS the main room and attitude didn't exist. Smoking weed was the only drug at those parties

I miss the old days

I remember when you would have to call the day off a party to find out the location.............I remember when Jungle was just called jungle.............I remember hearing sniper play "music is the key" for the first time and a tear coming to my eye...............I remember when we used to go crazy when breaks finally came on at 7:00 in the morning. I remember tripping out on god knows what thinking to myself "i never want this to end".............I remember candy kids putting stickers on my shirt..................I rememebr kicking e-tards that were rolling around on the dancefloor.....................I remember Liquid Adrenaline getting raided and having to wait in a thousand person line up to get into the oz..............Most of all I remember meeting so many people and alot of those people I can say are still my friend s today.
I may have partied to hard......done to many drugs but I don't regret 1 second of it.

I once asked someone about the best year they had, and they said,"You don't really remember the best ones.... that's how you know they were good."

Of course, I don't remember much either, but that's because I wasn't there. OR WAS I? *cue spooky music*
